Ruth Proctor (b. 1980) lives and works in London. She obtained her BA Fine art from Kingston University 2000-2003 and her MA in Painting from the Royal College of Art 2003-2005. Solo exhibitions including Putting it On, Hollybush Gardens, London (2015), Still Not Fixed, John Jones Project Space, London (2015), I was There, Norma Mangione, Turin (2014), Burn Out, The Back Space, Diane Stigter, Amsterdam (2013). Group exhibitions include On Dynamics and Monuments, Kunstverein Nurnberg (2015), On the Tip of My Tongue, Palazzo Trinci, Foligno, Italy (2014), the World Turned Upside Down, Mead Gallery, Warwick (2013). Proctor was artist in residence at Lugar a Dudas, Cali, Colombia in 2010, and had a film residency at NO.W.HERE Artists Film Lab, London in 2006-2007. The artist is represented by Hollybush Gardens, London and Norma Mangione Gallery, Turin.
