About Marion Coutts:

Marion Coutts (b. Nigeria) is a multi-media artist and writer and lives and works in London. Coutts studied at Edinburgh College of Art, and is Acting Course Leader in Fine Art and History of Art at Goldsmiths College, London. Residencies include the Kettle's Yard Fellowship, Cambridge, the Momart Fellowship, Tate Liverpool and The British School at Rome. She was married to the art critic Tom Lubbock, who died in 2011. She wrote the introduction to his memoir Until Further Notice, I am Alive (Granta, 2012) and is the editor of his anthology English Graphic (Frances Lincoln, 2012).  Her own book, The Iceberg, was published in 2014 by Atlantic Books. Selected solo exhibitions include: Twenty Six Things, Wellcome Collection, London (2008) and New Art Centre, Roche Court, Wiltshire (2007).
