Jesse Ash (b. 1977, London) lives and works in London. Ash completed his PhD at Goldsmiths College, London in 2010 and received his MA in Painting at the RCA, London in 2003. Ash makes work in a variety of media considering ideas about the materiality of language and the dissemination of political ideology. Recent solo exhibitions include presentations with Monitor Gallery, Rome and Tulips and Roses, Brussels. Current and recent group exhibitions include projects hosted at Thaddaeus Ropac Paris, Bonnefantenmuseum Maastricht, Bologna Museum of Modern Art, Index—The Sweedish Contemporary Art Foundation Stockholm, ICA London, GAK Bremen, CAC Bretigny Paris, Kadist Foundation Paris, Resonance FM London, Montehermoso Spain, Mendes Wood Sao Paolo.
