Anne-Marie Copestake lives and works in Glasgow, Scotland. She studied at Glasgow School of Art and at the Stadelschule, Frankfurt-am-Main. Her work encompasses text, sculpture, film and video, and she has produced several bookworks, most recently ‘Joy Boy’ published with Aye Aye Books, Glasgow in 2008. She is a member of the band Muscles of Joy and Poster Club, a collaborative group of seven Glasgow-based artists and was awarded the Margaret Tait Award, Glasgow Film Festival, 2012. Selected exhibitions include: Drawing Biennial, Drawing Room, London (2015/13); Studio 58: Women Artists in Glasgow since World War II, Mackintosh Museum, Glasgow School of Art (2012); And Under That, film screenings, Centre for Contemporary Art, Glasgow, Glasgow Film Theatre, Cafe Oto, London (2012); and Midnight Sun, The Old Hairdresser’s, Glasgow (2012).
