Vicken Parsons (b. 1957, Hertfordshire, UK) lives and works in London. She studied at the Slade School of Fine Art (1997-1999). Parsons has had solo exhibitions at the New Art Centre, Roche Court, Salisbury; Galerie Christine König, Vienna and Tate St Ives. Her recent group exhibitions include Editions and Acquisitions 2010, Alan Cristea Gallery, London (2011); Summer Exhibition, Royal Academy of Arts, London (2011); The World We Live In, Turnpike Gallery, Leigh (2011); Extra-Ordinary, art depot, London (2010); Sea Fever: from Turner to Today, Southampton City Art Gallery, Southampton (2010); and Alan Cristea Gallery, London (2010). Her work is held in the Arts Council Collection; Jerwood Foundation; and Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art.
