Nick Hornby (b. 1980, London) lives and works in New York and London. He studied at Chelsea College of Art and the Slade School of Art, UCL. Hornby's sculptures emerge from the convergence of a postermodern historical perspective and cutting-edge digital technology. Mining the collective index of cultural history, Hornby uses technology not just to invoke potential new worlds but as a way of investigating alternative ways of seeing history. In 2014, he was shortlisted for the Public Sculpture: Kensington Academy Commission, London, and was appointed FRBS, Fellow of the RBS , Royal British Society of Sculptors.
