Grace O’Connor

Grace O'Connor (b. 1977, USA) completed an MA at the Royal Academy of Art (1996-1999) Grace’s work is devoted to the depiction of the figure either in isolation or clustered in a group. Her figures evoke a solitude and quiet presence whether existing together or alone in curiously uninhabited landscapes. Her first solo exhibition was held in in 2001 at The Paton Gallery, London.  She has exhibited at the Paul Stolper Gallery since 2005. Grace was awarded the Hunting prize 'Young Artist of the Year' in 1994. Selected group exhibitions include The Royal Academy Summer Show (2013); 'Music' Phillips de Pury, London (2010); Jerwood Drawing prize, London (2007); BP Portrait Awards, National Gallery, London (2006).
