Born 1942, Fabian Peake lives and works in London. Graduated from Chelsea College of Art and Royal College of Art.
Peake’s work is mainly concerned with the complicated spaces occurring between and around the wall. This involves the spaces immediately in front of flat areas of wall as well as the wall itself. While painting and wall objects are the dominating forces in his work, he also makes three-dimensional objects whose position in space is coupled with elements that exist on the wall.
His work can be found in public collections including The Arts Council of England, Bedfordshire Arts Loan Collection, and Liverpool University.
Selected exhibitions include those held at Galeria Jacqueline Martins, Brussels (2021); Staring at the Silence, Chapel of the Madonna del Pozzo, Spoleto (2020); Kunstmuseum Luzern (2019-2020); Buffet d'Art, Ambika P3, London (2016); Three Works Gallery, Weymouth (2016); 48, Inverness Street Gallery, London (2014).
