Corin Sworn

Corin Sworn (b.1977, London, UK) Lives and works in Glasgow, Scotland. Studied BA Psychology, Minor Art History, University of British Columbia, Vancouver, CA (1994-99); BA, Art and Design programme, Central Saint Martins, London, UK (2001-02); BFA, Integrated Media Programme,  Institute of Art & Design, Vancouver, CA (1999-2002) and MFA, The Glasgow School of Art, UK (2007-2009). Awarded the MaxMara Art Prize for Women in association with Whitechapel Gallery, London, Uk (2014). Sworn creates films and installations deeply rooted in research, weaving together history with memories and fragments of true and imagined stories.
