Aura Satz (b. Spain, 1974) lives and works in London. Satz studied at the Slade School of Fine Art (1998-2002). She has performed, exhibited and screened her work nationally and internationally, including Tate Modern, Tate Britain, the Hayward Gallery, Barbican Art Gallery, ICA, the Wellcome Collection, BFI Southbank, Whitechapel Gallery, (London); Oberhausen Short Film Festival (Oberhausen); the Rotterdam Film Festival (Rotterdam); the New York Film Festival (NY); Gallery 44 (Toronto); Gertrude Contemporary (Melbourne); De Appel Art Centre (Amsterdam); and Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art (Gateshead). Recent group shows include Mirrorcity, The Hayward Gallery, London (2015); They Used to Call it the Moon, Baltic, Newcastle (2015), and a solo show Eyelids Leaking Light, George Eastman House, Rochester NY (2015).
