Anna Paterson (b.1989, London, UK). Studied at Central St Martins and the Royal Academy Schools, London. Paterson’s work emerges from an experimental and chaotic studio-based practice. Working between the painted and printed gesture, her process is consistently interested in ideas of scale, detail and conditions of visibility. Paterson was a guest student of Peter Doig at the Kunstakademie Dusseldorf and received the Albert Irwin award (2015). Select exhibitions include Post-graduate Print Prize, Clifford Chance, London (2016); Crisps...Good Luck Feather, Trinity Buoy Wharf, London, (2016); Royal Academy Schools Degree Show, Royal Academy of Arts, London (2016); and Cuts, Shapes, Breaks and Scrapes, Seventeen Gallery, London (2016).
