Alice Maher

Alice Maher (b. 1956, Co. Tipperary) lives and works in Claremorris. Graduated from Postgraduate Painting, San Francisco Art Institute, San Francisco (1987); MA Fine Art, University of Belfast, Belfast (1986); Diploma in Fine Art, Crawford Municipal College of Art, Cork (1985); and BA French and Political History, University of Limerick, Limerick (1978). Maher represented Ireland at the 22nd Sao Paolo Biennale (1994). Residencies include the Irish Museum of Modern Art, Dublin (1997).
