Alice Channer

Alice Channer (b. 1977) lives and works in London. Channer completed a BA in Fine Art at Goldsmiths College, and an MA in Sculpture at the Royal College of Art, both in London. Solo exhibitions include R o c k f a l l, Aspen Art Museum, USA (2015); Synthetic Fibre, Approach, London (2014); Soft Shell, Kunstverein Freiburg, Germany (2013); Invertebrates,Hepworth Wakefield, West Yorkshire (2013); Cold Blood, Lisa Cooley, New York (2012); Out Of Body, South London Gallery, London (2012); Body Conscious (2011) and Worn-work (2009) at The Approach, London; and Inhale, Exhale, Mackintosh Gallery, Glasgow School of Art, as part of the Glasgow International (2010). She has participated in numerous group exhibitions, including at the Fridericianum, Kassel, Germany; Kestnergesellschaft, Hanover, Germany; 55th Venice Biennale International Art Exhibition, Italy; Whitechapel Gallery, London; Raven Row, London; Tate Britain, London; Stuart Shave Modern Art, London; Tanya Bonakdar Gallery, New York; Lisson, London; Hayward Gallery Touring, UK. Her work is included in the Arts Council Collection, the Tate Permanent Collection, and the Zabludowicz Collection, among others. She is represented by The Approach, London and Lisa Cooley, New York.
