Michael Gumhold

Michael Gumhold (b. 1978, Graz, Austria) studied the School of Art and Design in Graz (1998-2000) and the Academy of Fine Art, Vienna (2000-2005) where he still lives and works. In 2006 and 2010 Gumhold was awarded with the Federal Chancellery of Austria Scholarship and Tokyo, respectively.  Recent solo exhibitions include venues such as Groerg Kargl Boz, Vienna (2012), Ve.Sch, Vienna (2010), Austrian Cultural Forum, Visual Arts Platform, London(2009), Georg Kargl Fine Arts, Vienna (2009, 2008), KHG Galerie, Graz (with Christian Eisenberger, 2008).
