Kevin Hutcheson (b. 1971, Glasgow) lives and works in Glasgow. Hutcheson received his BA from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design, Dundee in 1997, and his MFA from Chelsea College of Art & Design, London in 2002. Selected awards include Cove Park Visual Artists Award (2006) and Creative Scotland Artists Bursary Award (2014). He has exhibited widely, including group exhibitions at The Fruitmarket Gallery, Edinburgh (2000), Gallery of Modern Art, Glasgow (2004), East International, Norwich (2006), Tate Modern, London (2007), Dundee Contemporary Arts, Dundee (2009) and participated in The John Moores Painting Prize 2012 at The Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool. Solo exhibitions include those at Collective Gallery, Edinburgh (2003), Alexandre Pollazzon, London (2007), Jacky Strenz Gallery, Frankfurt (2008), Glasgow Project Room, Glasgow (2010) and Patricia Fleming Projects, Glasgow (2013).
