Karin Ruggaber

Karin Ruggaber (b. 1969, Stuggart, Germany) lives and works in London. She studied BA Hons Fine Art at Chelsea Collage of Ard and Desing between 1993-1996 and received an MFA Fine Art, Sculpture in 1998 from Slade School of Fine Art. In 2007, Ruggaber was awarded with Grant for Façade Project for EAST International 2007 from Arts Council England. The artist has exhibited widely in United Kingdom and Germany. Solo exhibitions include venues such as greengrassi, London, The Swiss Church, London (organized by David Mollin), Tate Britain, London, Bloomberg SPACE, London, Haus der Kunststiftung, Stuttgart. Group exhibitions included Shorts, Verein zur Förderung von Kunst und Kultur am Rosa Luxemburg Platz, Berlin (curated byJaspar Joseph Lester & Susanne Prinz (2012), Camulodunum, Firstsite, Colchester (curated by Michelle Cotton, 2011), British Art Show 7, (curated by Lisa Le Feuvre and Tom Morton) toured to Nottingham Contemporary, Nottingham (2010), Hayward Gallery, London, to Glasgow and Plymouth (2011).
