Jonathan Allen (b. 1966, UK) lives and works in London. Graduated from BA Fine Art at Trent Polytechnic, Nottingham (1988) and MA Fine Art at Chelsea School of Art, London (1989). Allen is a curator at the Magic Circle Museum, London and has written a book on the English artist and mystic Austin Osman, Lost Envoy, Strange Attractor Press (2016). Select awards and residencies include Arts Council England Helen Chadwick Fellowship (2007-8); Arts Council England Individual Artists Award (2004/2005/2006); and the Henry Moore Fellowship (1991-3).
