Henna Nadeem

Henna Nadeem (b. 1966, Leeds) lives and works in London. The artist obtained her BA in Fine Art from John Moores University, Liverpool in 1985 and her MA in Fine Art from the Royal College of Art from 1990-1993. She primarily works in collage with a variety of traditional and readymade materials. Nadeem has completed a number of large-scale public art commissions including Sky Pavilion in East London as well as designing posters for Transport for London in 2004. Group exhibitions include: Drawing Biennial, Drawing Room, London (2013), Beyond Pattern, Durham Art Gallery, Durham (2010-2011), Nothing is Forever, South London Gallery, London (2010), Superabundant: A Celebration of Patters, Turner Contemporary, Margate (2009) and Balla-Drama: Group Show, Paradise Row, London (2009). Nadeem was an artist in residence at Artspace, Sydney, Australia in 2007, at London Print Studio, London in 2004, as well as at Camden Arts Centre in 1997
