Guy Allott

Guy Allott (b. 1972, Hexham, UK) lives and works in London. Allott graduated from Central Saint Martins School of Art & Design in 1999 and the Royal College of Art in 2002. Allott has exhibited widely in Europe and America. His solo shows include: Aliens, Grey Area, Paris (2014); Robots, Grey Area, Paris (2013); Magic & Loss, Kunstverein Springhornhof, Germany (2011); Recent Wrecks, Reception, Berlin (2010); and The Space Race, fa projects, London (2006). Selected group shows include: Drawing Biennial 2015, Drawing Room, London (2015); Reason & Emotion, Barionet Rosendal, Norway (2012); Belvedere, Arp Museum Bahnhof Rolandsek, Germany (2011); East End Academy, Whitechapel Gallery, London (2009); Jagdsalon, Kreuzberg Kunstraum/Bethanien, Berlin (2006); John Moores 24, Walker art Gallery, Liverpool (2006); and The lost collection of an invisible man, Laing Art Gallery, Newcastle (2003). He has previously won the First Base Award from ACAVA (2003), and his work is part of public collections such as Fidelity Investments, London; the UBS Art Collection, London; Royal Society, London; and the British Library, London.
