Alex Frost (b. 1973, London) studied at Staffordshire University and Glasgow School of Art. Frost works with a variety of materials and styles and recent work highlights the tension between the Minimalist tradition of modular repetition and the gestural quality of the hand-made. He was awarded the Phynance Residency, 2015.
