Back

Geoffrey Farmer, who lives and works in Vancouver, currently has a major new exhibition The Surgeon and the Photographer at The Curve, Barbican until 28 July 2013.

Developed over a three-year period, The Surgeon and the Photographer will be shown for the first time in its completed form. The work consists of hundreds of puppet-like figures, composed of images cut from old books and magazines mounted onto fabric forms, and is accompanied by a new film commission.

We are delighted to announce that Farmer has made a unique A4 work for our Drawing Biennial 2013 that opens 18 April and the work will be included in our online auction finishing on 15 May.

Additionally, Drawing Room has a unique collage work by Geoffrey Farmer available for sale. The work relates directly to his large scale installation The Last Two Million Years, at the Drawing Room in 2007 and his first solo exhibition in the UK , the installation has since has been acquired for the Tate collection.
